Why apply?
The ISS Scouting Mentorship Program is designed to train and mentor individuals toward the goal of a career in hockey scouting. As the world’s leading independent hockey scouting organization, ISS Hockey is the ideal partner to help you bridge the gap from your current involvement in hockey to establishing a career in the industry. For those who qualify, the program includes working with the staff of ISS Hockey for the duration of one season.

What’s included?
RinkNet Access
Learn how to use RinkNet, the software system used by all 31 NHL organizations, 60 CHL teams, 45+ NCAA programs and many more. ISS Hockey Mentorship Scouts will get a full user license when accepted into the program.
HockeyTV Access
Learn how to use HockeyTV, the most powerful online solution ever for viewing, archiving and managing hockey footage – from individual plays to complete games. ISS Hockey Mentorship Scouts will get a full user subscription when accepted into the program.
InStat Hockey
InStat Hockey is a video analysis and statistical data company offering the largest library of players, teams, and leagues worldwide. InStat saves coaches and scouts hours of time, as individual player shifts and stats are pre-cut into separate playlists, while giving users the option to edit, share, or download clips.

Game Access
As an ISS Hockey Mentorship Scout, you will be able to gain access to several levels of hockey with your ISS Hockey ID Card.
Get Noticed
Attend games, scout players and create game reports. Your game reports are made available to nearly every league and team around the world directly in RinkNet. Put your work on display to entice future employers.
Networking
You will have the opportunity to meet with top-end league and team staff members. Increase networking potential by attending games with members of our ISS Amateur Scouting team.
Opportunities
