ISS is now offering a Student Advisory Program (SAP).

The program will be managed by our GM, Matt Ebbs, and coordinated by ISS Chief Scout Mike Oke, along with ISS Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis.

The Student Advisory Program has been designed to develop the necessary skills to scout and stay current in regard to the top players and trends in the hockey industry.

Features of this program include:

• Ability to apprentice with ISS scouts at games in your region
• Full use of Rinknet scouting software
• Monthly Chats
• Access to current articles related to the top prospects and the business of hockey through a Members Only Section on the ISS website.

As you know, Rinknet is a must have for anyone in the scouting world. This scouting database system that is currently used by the majority of the National Hockey League teams, and many Canadian Hockey League teams scouting departments, as well as, National Club Teams in Finland, Sweden and Germany.

As part of the Scouting Advisory Program, Rinknet will provide you with:

• A fully integrated scouting system.
• One-Stop-Shopping for player information.
• Scheduling, Game Report, List, Player Evaluation capabilities and more!
• The ability to connect from anywhere

As a member of the Scouting Advisory Program, you will have full access to Rinknet, a program that most NHL & CHL teams currently utilize.

As part of the Scouting Advisory Program there will be a minimum of one chat each month, where you will have the opportunity to speak directly to ISS scouts about questions you have about the scouting process or hockey in general, as well as the Top Prospects for the upcoming drafts. It will also allow you the chance to continue to network with others in the scouting community from across Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Lastly you will have direct access to the Members Only section of the ISS website where you will be able to read the latest articles from around the world on issues involving top prospects and the hockey industry. You will access to the comprehensive database of player reports and profiles.

Our SAP staff is made up of the following:

2. Dennis MacInnis, Director of Scouting;
3. Mike Oke, Chief Scout
4. ISS scouts.
